Mouthing and biting are common habits of all rottweilers. And it is essential to keep under control this mouthing habit of your rotweiler at an early age.
Often rottweiler puppies mouth our hands during excitement or when playing and puppies more often do this more to kids than adults. And it is up to you to control this behavior of your puppy. You can use the steps mentioned below to train your dog puppy.
A rottwieler uses its mouth very much. Actually, they discover their world with their mouth. They take pleasure in chewing things. It is found that the habit intensifies during the teething process.
Provide your rottweiller some chew toys with unique textures to help fulfill their chewing needs properly with pup training. It is recommended to use larger rawhide items and natural bones for your pups to meet with their chewing needs.
The moment when your pup starts chewing on you just make him understand that you are in pain no matter if she has actually nipped at your skin. Just let out a scream, by doing so she will be scared and will leave you.
If you want to maintain good relation with your puppy simply treat him as you care your child.
Appreciate him if his cooperation is immediate and offer him an appropriate chew toy. Do not give a toy when your hand is still in his mouth, this will instigate the wrong behavior. Another method which can be applied is to train your dog to follow your commands and gestures.
Some pups go out of control soon. They continue jumping and nipping, avoiding what is said to them. Things will quickly get out hand and someone could end up injured if not controlled. Smile if it is not your puppy!
